You are strongly encouraged (but not required) to post your weekly work journal entries, or writing based on those entries, to a Data Science group on LinkedIn. 

The reason is that prospective employers regularly scan LinkedIn groups to see who is active. By posting weekly you will almost certainly be seen as an active member of a group, which should get you noticed by prospective employers. At the very least this can lead to a valuable internship.
